Membership Meeting
December 5, 2011 7PM
14 members in attendance: Linda & Keith Marsh, Susan Bixler, Connie Mong, Lori Fleagle, Melissa Foltz, Carol & Dan Glatfelter, Mary Ellen Breon, Ellie Benish, Heather Pilgert, Jeannie Besecker, Jason & Valerie Warrenfeltz
Linda Marsh called the meeting to order at 7:25PM
Minutes from the last meeting were handed out and no changes were made.
Treasury Report: Balance of $4878.26
Shows: Discussion on shows for 2012. Linda has received input on having 3 shows, with one being double pointed or 2 shows, both being double pointed. Took vote at meeting and 10 votes went towards 2 double pointed shows. It was suggested to contact Chambersburg Saddle club to see if it was possible to have a show there. Connie Mong brought up the fact that four years ago when we had the show there the ring was hard to drive in because it was so deep. Mary Ellen Breon said that was because it was just put in and has settled a lot since then. Suggested dates were June 10 or 24th, and September 2nd or 9th. Rain dates will also be chosen for each show.
There will be a show committee meeting ONE hour (6PM) prior to the regular meeting on January 2, 2012. Anyone on the show committee is encouraged to attend this meeting. Dates will be made and talked/voted on at the regular meeting at 7PM.
Also suggested was a non-pointed fun show. A May 19, 2012 date was discussed. Talk about getting someone to judge other than a regular judge to keep the cost of the show down. Anyone who may know of someone with a knowledge of mini's who would be willing to judge this show, please contact Linda Marsh about it. Mentioned it should not be a club member.

Also on January 13, 2012, 7PM, there will be an auction held at Ye Olde Country Auction House in Newville, Pa to benefit Grace Fleagle. There will be a 3 year old AQHA registered Quarter Horse Bay Gelding auctioned off. Other items will be auctioned off include a Bulldog puppy from a litter in Jan 2012. Jewelry, furniture and household items, restaurant certificates, and more. For more information please contact Jill Kerstetter at jak@thecomputerbarn.com. Any new or gently used items or services would be greatly appreciated. Anything you can do to help will be greatly appreciated to help this sweet little girl and her family with the expenses not covered by insurance. All proceeds go to the Grace Fleagle Charitable Trust.
